The contemporary crib is a formal and substantive message of the divine epiphany! (Apparition of the Lord) and enters the message of peace. The individual figures are stylized on the movement and posture of the body. (Based on the iconographic representation of the crib figures from art history - think e.g. of Albrecht Dürer's interpretation of the Three Kings) The kings bow in humility.

The first king is kneeling, the second standing, the third king figure, on the other hand, looks up to the sky. All three follow the divine light, which is symbolized by the gilded Jesus child figure and the gold gilded gloriole of the figures of Mary and Joseph. The gold is to be understood as a synonym for the sacred, the golden divine color has the starlight. Mary with Jesus forms the central double figure of the manger, the baby Jesus emerges from the maternal body. The coat-like open figure of Joseph depicts him as the protector of the Holy Family. The openings of the figures lead to the sacred world, to the spiritual, to the divine.
